Your fishing trip includes bait and tackle, access to top-of-the-line fish-finding technology, and ample free parking at our dock.
What should we bring on the boat?
We recommend bringing sunscreen, snacks, drinks, and a cooler if you plan to take your catch home. Don’t forget to tip your deckhands – they work hard to make your trip memorable!
Are your boats inspected and safe?
Yes, all our boats are U.S. Coast Guard inspected annually and equipped with the latest safety and fishing technology.
Will we see dolphins?
While we can’t guarantee wildlife sightings, dolphin sightings are common on our trips and always a highlight!

What kind of food do you serve?
We specialize in fresh, locally caught seafood including peel & eat shrimp, raw and steamed oysters, and catch-of-the-day specials that can be broiled, blackened, or fried.
Where does your seafood come from?
Our chefs source directly from local fishing boats that dock throughout the day — it doesn’t get fresher than that!
Is there indoor and outdoor seating?
Yes! We have spacious indoor dining as well as plenty of outdoor dock and water view seating perfect for families, couples, and groups.
Is the restaurant family-friendly?
Absolutely. Children are always welcome, and the relaxed, casual vibe makes it a great spot after a beach day.
Do you offer wine or alcoholic beverages?
Yes, we offer a full service bar including liquor, wine, and both draft & bottle beer. Something to suit every taste!

We offer a wide variety of fresh fish, crab, lobster, and other local seafood that you won’t find at typical grocery stores.
Can I stop by car or boat?
Yes! Whether you’re cruising in or driving, Dockside is easily accessible for both boaters and drivers.
Is your seafood market open year-round?
Our market and restaurant is open daily. We are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Call ahead for hours and availability at 757-481-4545
Do you offer any pre-made items or take-home meals?
We specialize in fresh, raw seafood for home cooking. Our team can often help with preparation suggestions or pairing ideas — just ask! You can also place a to-go order from our restaurant in the seafood market.
